We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop - It's All About The Color

Team Blog Hop Header

Welcome to the We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop-It's All About The Color.  The basic definition of color is the aspect of any object that may be described in terms of hue, lightness and saturation.  I remember when my Granny purchased a color TV and I saw the NBC Peacock in COLOR - WOW!  Talk about color hues, brightness and saturation compared to the non-color Peacock on our black and white TV at home.  Color adds so much to out lives and Stampin' Up! makes it simple to master the art of color coordination.  All of their products, from ribbons and embellishments to papers and ink, come in coordinating colors you can use to create your own world of color!

My color inspiration came from the rich and vibrant color hues of the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper and starting today, this gorgeous paper is on sale!  Sale information is at the bottom of this post.

This is the card that I originally made for May Buffet Card Class. Click here to view a listing of my upcoming classes.  This is a such a simple card design- Designer Series Paper layered onto cardstock, a stamped greeting using the Huffing Technique and some embellishments.  Easy-Peasy!

Check out the video below to see how I made another card using left over pieces of this Designer Series Paper.

The greeting is from the Hope You Know stamp set and was popped out using the Stylish Shapes dies.   I used Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst Stampin' Write Markers to add color to the stamp.

Both cards are saturated with color coordination!

Gosh love the colors of that paper. Forget to use my markers to add color to the sentiments. Thanks for the reminder.
