We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Christmas Time
December 01, 2024
Hello and welcome to the We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Christmas Time. For me, Christmas is always a magical time of the year when families and friends come together to celebrate the love and birth of Jesus. One of my favorite Christmas traditions is decorating for the Christmas season, especially the Christmas tree. Over the years, I've scaled down my holiday decorating, but I still look forward to decorating my Christmas tree. Each decoration I place on my tree, holds a special memory in my heart. With that said, I'm sharing a Christmas card made using the Decorative Trees Bundle.
I layered pieces of the Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper onto a piece of Basic Beige cardstock. Before attaching this panel to a Very Vanilla card base, I added a piece of Cream Woven Ribbon, an Online Exclusive. I used Versa Mark ink to stamp my greeting onto Basic Beige cardstock and heat set with gold embossing powder. Once the embossing cooled, I used one of the tree dies to pop it out. I attached this to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock die cut with the Stylish Shapes die and then embossed with the Decorative Trees embossing folder. I loved that using just a section of this embossing folder mimics the texture of the Season of Elegance DSP.
After making this card, I wondered what this layout would look like with the other Season of Elegance Designer papers, so here's the Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock, and Old Olive versions. I finished all cards with Gold Textured Dots.
I love all color versions, but the gold is still my favorite. I would love to know which color you like best. Please leave a comment and let me know.
