Stamp with Leigh

Hello and welcome to the We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop as we explore the new Stampin' Up! Catalog

It's always exciting when a new Stampin' Up! catalog is released!  As a demonstrator, I get to view the new catalog early online, but it's just not the same as holding the catalog in your hands and exploring it page by page.  Of course, I have my post-it notes handy to flag all the new and exciting must-have items on my Wish List!

One of the items on my Wish List was the Extraordinary Floral Bundle and the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

The Extraordinary Flora Bundle is full of love, happiness, and florals for stamping and cutting out floral and botanical images in two quick steps!  Color the line-art style florals with your favorite coloring technique and them die cut all the images at once.  How cool is that!

The Extraordinary Flora die also coordinates with the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.  This flora pattern washi tape features a gorgeous pattern of watercolor florals and botanical images.  The design alternates from pink and purple variations of the same pattern for more cardmaking and crafting options.

I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and coordinating die to make these two retirement cards.  I wanted the focus to be on the washi tape images, so I kept my layouts very simple. I rolled out a section of the washi tape onto Basic White cardstock before die cutting.  

The first card (left side), features the more "pinkish" color flowers.  I used a circle punch and Stylish Shape die to create a Basic Black ring and then began layering my die cut elements.  I finished off my card with some 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls and a Strawberry Slush Faux Linen bow.  The greeting is from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, an Online Exclusive.  This stamp set features a retirement greeting that was stamped inside both cards.

For the card on the right, I added an embossed panel using the Glass & Garden embossing folder and a Gold Striped Mesh ribbon bow, both Online Exclusives. The greeting is from the Extraordinary Floral stamp set.  A few 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls finished my project.

I also added a die cut on the the inside of each card, right by the greeting-
