Halloween Treat Pouches

I made Halloween tags for these cute zippered pouches from Thirty-One.  If you don't have a Thirty-One Consultant, click here to visit my daughters Thirty-One website.

When I saw these cutie-pie pouches, I knew they would be perfect for holding oodles of Halloween treats, but I wasn't sure how to "Stampin' Up!" them.  Tailor Made Tag dies to the rescue!  I made personalized tags for each pouch using the Frightfully Cute Bundle and Playful Alphabet dies.

I love how the heat embossed spider on this tag mimics the spider on the pouch.  I used the Black Glitter paper for the name and spider web.  The Black & White Gingham ribbon was used to attach the tag and I finished it off with a Metallic Ribbon bow.

Chris Halloween Chris Tag

I think these dancing skeletons are hilarious!  I smile every time I look at them, maybe because they remind me of what I look like dancing.

DSCN3227[1] Ray Tag

I used the Sale-a-Bration Be Dazzling paper for this tag.  This paper is no longer available, but hopefully you have something similar in your paper stash.  The bats and moon are from the Frightfully Cute Bundle also.  This bundle is a must have for your Halloween cards and treats.  I attached the tag using the Metallic Mesh ribbon and added a bow using the Black Glittered Organdy ribbon.

Fall Is In The Air

My family and friends know that I love sunshine, blue skies, water, sand, palm tress and  umbrella drinks.  As much as I love warm weather, Fall is my favorite season!  There's just something about the ever changing colors of the leaves, sleeping with the bedroom windows open and the fresh crisp smell in the air. Fall also means Halloween, a time for tricks, treats and funny, silly, scary costumes.  I always send Halloween cards to family and friends, along with Halloween treats.  Here's a look at what I've been creating for Halloween.

October Blog Hop

All of these cards including the Tombstone Treat box were made using the Frightfully Cute stamp set and Frightfully Tags dies.  Purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10%.

You're So Sweet_2

The Cute Halloween 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper was used for this panel card.  Since our DSP has two sides, I used one side "as is" and colored the "other" side with Stampin' Blends.

You're So Sweet_1 You're So Sweet_3

This Happy Halloween to You card was a breeze to make.  All you need is Designer Series Paper, ink, ribbon and some Matte Black Dots to create a one-of-a-kind Halloween card.

Happy Halloween to You

Next is a Frightfully Cute slimline card.  Love the Black Glitter paper and Black & White Gingham ribbon.

Frightfully Cute

On the inside of the card, I stamped the spiders with Versa Mark ink and heat set with black embossing powder.  I think this card will go to my favorite (only) son-in-law since he doesn't like spiders.

I had a blast decorating the Tombstone Treat Boxes!  The possibilities for these little cuties are endless.

December We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop- Simple Christmas Gifts

Welcome and thank you for "buzzing" over to my blog today!  This month's blog hop is about Simple Christmas Gifts.

I read somewhere that giving candles as a Christmas gift is not a very original idea.  I understand the writers viewpoint in thinking that not much thought goes into the process of choosing and presenting a candle as a gift.  However, I have some ideas on how to change what could be interpreted as a  hum-drum gift to a WOW gift.

First, you need to choose a candle scent that reflects the personally of the recipient.

I have my candle, but let's face it, putting this in a gift bag with tissue paper is not a very original or thoughtful gift.  So let's "jazz" things up with cardstock, Designer Series Paper and ribbon to go from a plain-Jane gift to a one-of-a-kind-just-for-you gift.

Yep, my candle is inside this custom made festive box.  I don't know about you, but I would love to receive anything inside such a cute box!

I covered a piece of chipboard and inserted it in the bottom of the box for extra stability.

I used Real Red cardstock for the box and then decorated the top with layers of Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the Tags Tags Tags stamp with Mossy Meadow ink and colored the little elf shoes with Stampin' Blends.  Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of whimsey.  The tag was popped out using the coordinating Trio of Tags die.  I used Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends to color the Purple Posy ribbon in the Playing with Ribbons Combo Pack.  The tag was attached using a piece of Real Red ribbon from the All the Trimming Ribbon Combo Pack.

The joy of giving comes from the heart, so get creative and show someone how much you care with  beautiful hand crafted packaging.

Sit back, relax and "hop" through all the posts to see a variety of simple Christmas gift ideas from my fellow We BEE Stampin Team members.

OnStage at Home Gifts

Due to COVID, Stampin' Up! OnStage (annual convention) was a virtual event this year.  My upline, Linda Bauwin is such a great leader and friend.  She rented a conference room at a local hotel in order to watch this two-day event together.  We were a small group, and even with social distancing, we were able to have a fun time.

This is the gift I made for my fellow We BEE Stamping team members.

I filled a retired gusseted cello bag with hot chocolate, a small notebook, granola bar,  coaster and glow-in-the-dark bracelets.  The bracelets were a big hit during dinner at Grand River Cellars winery Friday night.  Let me say, "what happens at OnStage, stays at OnStage."  The bag is closed with a giant paperclip.  These bags were so much fun to make and give to my friends.

At OnStage, I was able to preview the new Mini Catalog, which is chock-full of FANTASTIC items!  All I can say is WOW!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Easter Basket

I made these cute little Easter baskets for my co-workers.  Unfortunately, they will be receiving them after Easter since we're all on a two-week self quarantine.  But, it's the thought that counts and candy is candy, right.

For the majority of us, our Easter celebration will be different than what we're use to.  Our faith and beliefs still remain the same and will see us through these difficult times.  Happy Easter my friends!
