We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Slimline Cards

Welcome to this month's We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop featuring Slimline Cards.  Slimline cards are the newest card making craze in the stamping community.  If you're not familiar with slimline cards, it's basically, a tall and slender vertical or long and skinny horizontal card that fits into a business size envelope.  Think of it this way, if a regular 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card is a wine glass, a slimline card is a champagne flute.  Your existing supplies like cardstock, stamps, Designer Series Papers, dies, and embellishments can all be used to create a simply stunning slimline card.  So let's have a toast to celebrate this fun new and exciting card style.

I used the Decorated with Happiness Bundle and Snowflake Specialty Paper to make a Christmas slimline card.

Cottage Wreath Christmas Greetings

This cute little notecard was made using the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper and Cottage Wreath Bundle.  Stampin' Up! notecards are a great value.  The notecards are pre-scored and measure 5" x 3-1/2" when folded and come with envelopes.

Halloween Happiness

Here's another Halloween card using the Scary Cute Bundle from the Mini Catalog.  Can you figure out the Designer Series Paper strips I used?  It's from the Lights Aglow DSP.  Yep, Christmas themed DP.  I thought the gold print on black background would be great for a Halloween card.  What do you think?
