Stamp with Leigh

This card was made using products from the Floral Delight Suite from the current Mini Catalog.

The focal point of my card is the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper strips.  I used a Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to add ink just the Happy Birthday section of the stamp.  The marker to stamp technique is a great way to single out certain words or to use different ink colors on one stamp.  The only embellishment on this card is the Delightful Wishes flower die cut and Old Olive leaf.

This colorful card was made using products from the Mixed Media Florals Suite of products, an Online Exclusive.  I layered Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper onto a Misty Moonlight card base.  The greeting is from the Mixed Labels stamp set.  This stamp set has coordinating dies, but I didn't use them on this card.  I did use the 1-3/4" and 2" circle punches, both Online Exclusives.

I used Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color the little flower.  This is such a great card to send to a friend to brighten their day!

Say what???  Stamping on Designer Series Paper???  Yes you can!  This is a fun technique that I haven't done in ages.  The Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper, Elements of Text and Mixed Labels stamp set worked perfectly together for this card.  I only used one color ink, Pecan Pie, for all my stamping.

I didn't put a greeting on the front of the card since I wanted the stamping to be front and center.  This is a "neutral" type of card that can be used for any occasion.  Your written message or stamped greeting can go on the inside.  I like keeping a small stash of cards like this on hand for "just in case" moments.

I usually take what I call a "Plain Jane" card and step-it up by adding additional layers or embellishments.  Today, I'm doing the complete opposite - I'm giving you a "dressed-down" version.  How funny is that!

So here's the dressed-down version, which is still a very pretty card.  This is still the same concept, but what makes this the "Plain Jane" is the Designer Series Paper.  I opted for regular Designer Series Paper,  In fact, this is actually Take a Bow (Christmas) Designer Series Paper.  Both cards were made using the Hearts of Elegance Bundle, an Online Exclusive.

Here's an easy multi-layer Valentine card featuring the Hearts of Elegance Bundle, an Online Exclusive.

Yes, I said easy!  So many times, people look at a card that has several layers and think it's way too complicated to make, which is not always the case.  This card looks complicated because it has several layers and die-cuts.  In my video below, I show you how simple it is to make this card.  The trick is breaking down and assembling all the die-cuts.

Here's a glance at the inside of the card.  I really liked stamping the solid image heart over the greeting.  I'm going to have to remember this for future cards.
