Hello Autumn Video (Sneak Peek)

Todays card and video is a sneak peek from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog. Yelp, a new Mini Catalog is coming September 4th!

This card is a super simple layout featuring the Birch Wood embossing folder and the More Than Autumn Bundle. I'm in love with all the holiday (fall, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine) cards, treat favors and scrapbook opportunities this bundle provides.

I used the inside pieces of the leaves for the inside of the card. Please watch my video below to see how super easy it is to make this fun fall card.

New Video with Sentimental Wishes Bundle

Hello and thank you for joining me for todays video featuring products from the Sentimental Christmas Suite Collection from the new Mini Catalog, A.K.A., the Holiday Mini. I love old Black & White movies, and the Sentimental Wishes stamp set and Sentimental Wishes Designer Series Paper remind me of Christmas in that era. This Suite has a very nostalgia feel of Christmases long past.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base and layered Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper to the left edge of the card base. The greeting is from the Peaceful Season stamp set (also a Bundle) and was stamped using Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the candle image three times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

In Color Spotlight on Nature Video

Have you ever had one of those days, or in my case, week, where you look back and say, "where in the world did the day/week go?" Yelp, that was me last week. Just to let you know, I'm still here and hopefully won't loose track of time with postings to my blog.

Todays video features a simple way to step-up an already basic layout/design. My card features the Spotlight on Nature Bundle with Pretty in Pink In Color.

Fun & Easy Background Technique using Stampin' Blends

August 11, 2024

This fun and easy background was made using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

I randomly scribbled several shades of Stampin' Blends alcohol markers on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Next, I stamped several images from from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the scribbled areas. The Trusty Tools stamp set also has coordinating dies, but I didn't use them on this card. The hardest part of this card was choosing what color Stampin' Blends to use.

I can't wait to try this technique using soft pastel Stampin' Blends colors and a feminine stamp set- or rich fall colors for a Thanksgiving theme, or a Halloween, or.....the possibilities are endless.
